oooh! i can't wait to hear what is up! fingers crossed!!

I just knew i was with both. I didn't have any real symptoms I just knew i was. I feel my ovulation so I always knew there was a good chance for pregnancy. I wanted two and I got two on the first try for each. I wish it was so easy for everyone.

I look forward to a birth story involving moroccan pants. and a baby. in those pants.

Show-off. I'm jealous.

No, really, I'm in awe of women who feel their ovulation. I can't even imagine. Also, I always think I'm pregnant. "Hmm. I'm really tired. I must be pregnant." "Whoa, my tummy feels funny. I must be pregnant." "This movie I've seen a million times just made me cry! I HAVE to be pregnant." In fact, I think I'm pregnant right now.

Second pregnancy i was trying and knew immediately, like that night. I don't know if i could feel implantation or what but that's what it felt like. i also felt increased bloodflow right away, i was warm all the time. i also peed on about $100 worth of pee tests and all came back negative (because i had multiples). Finally went to the doctor saying "I know i'm pregnant, just gimme the proof!!" i never had nausea with that pregnancy, interestingly. And even though i had twins i wore the same damn pants until about month 5.

Wow, multiples can affect the result of pregnancy tests? I did not know that!

Tofulish, we're thinking about you so hard! All fingers and paws crossed over here!

It isn't always awesome. feeling your ovaries can be extremely uncomfortable. I actually had accupuncture so I wouldn't feel them so much. It is convenient though.

I get that it is painful, but I think its pretty cool that you know when you ovulate. I never had any idea, and when I started to try to chart, I couldn't ever find anything predictive (my gyno said that its not useful for women with PCOS). I feel like this whole process has involved so much learning, because I've just been so clueless compared to many of you.

Its frustrating though, because so many of the symptoms are similar to those you get just before your period. Like I had killer cramps that kept me in bed yesterday, which have gone today, and apparently that can be a sign your uterus is expanding or implantation etc (Google throws you so many alternatives). Or of my period. :)

This has been such a rollercoaster especially with the damned pee sticks :) We keep trying not to get our hopes up, but its hard not to interpret the information in a biased way <3 And there isn't anything clear - apparently some women who are pregnant continue to have their periods (I never knew that!).

And this thread is superinformative, thank you so much all. Torque, I can't believe that pee sticks aren't useful for multiples. Do you know why that is? I would imagine there is 2x as much HCG, but I know nothing.

I don't think that's actually true since you only get a true period after you ovulate and shed the lining of your uterus, but some women do have spotting or bleeding during pregnancy - usually more during the first trimester than later on.

I did have light cramping on and off throughout the first couple months of being pregnant. And worse cramps after sex, which was pretty sucky.

Good luck to you! I refuse to say anything about "baby dust" but I do hope you get happy news soon.

Yes! This is completely crazy-making, especially when you want to be pregnant.

I am tired of being nauseous all the time. This sucks. I'm in Vienna and wanted to go to Gasthof Schillinger, but I have been so nauseous the thought of any of that stuff makes me want to hurl.

When do you get home already?! Pregnant or not, it sucks to be sick while you're traveling. Do you have a doctor's appointment lined up? The ppk needs answers!

Hope you feel better soon. Definitely avoid anything greasy or fried. A nice bowl of rice, perhaps?

I have one at the begining of Dec, but we're back on Tuesday and I am going to ask to see her this week or next. Thanks for the advice, the nausea comes and goes, but today it has just been pretty constant. The only thing that definitely helps is sleep.

How did I only just see this thread?!?!?! I blame being in England.

I am thinking good baby thoughts for you guys! Eat some crackers before you get out of bed - that really helped me with the early morning nausea. And rest all you want, and do whatever you feel like doing at any given moment.

I don't know if anyone said this but pregnancy tests work best with your first morning urine. you can pee in a cup and save the pee for later if you don't have a pee stick right then.

Let it sit for 5 minutes and see what it says. a faint line (with color) or a solid line is a line and means pregnant. A greyish line that isn't the color of the control line is supposed to be is just an evaporation line. Ignore. Good luck!
