What Tofulish said. It's hard. Dates, deadlines, 1-year-trying marks, arbitrary lines you've drawn for yourself. It sucks and it's not fair. Lots of love to you both. <3

Not fantastic, but thank you for checking. Friday was my due date and I was just crabby as fork the whole day - I should probably apologize to everyone I interacted with that day...

I started a conversation with Mr. Fizz about how we need to think about how far we are willing to go to have a baby (IUI, IFV, etc) and I was a little annoyed with his attitude that it is mostly my decision since it is my body. I get what he's saying but I also think that is an unfair burden since he wants kids as well. I am going to retry the conversation when it isn't a day that I'm extra sensitive to begin with because I'm sure crying was not helpful to the dialogue.

How are you doing aelle? Feeling alright?

Sorry you had a hard day. I hope the next few days get better.

I've been having a particularly rough week, and I just put 2 and 2 together and realized it's the anniversary of my D&C. I also reluctantly booked a first fertility appointment. I have a really hard time thinking of myself as moving into the infertility sphere, and like you I don't know how far I'm willing to go with this. W. is open to anything and seems to have zero emotional attachment to his own fertility, which I envy.

That is another one of those unhappy dates. I hope you're doing nice things for yourself. We've agreed to schedule our first fertility appointment in January since we have a lot of life things right now (S got laid off and is job hunting) so we can't afford a lot at the moment even though our OB said she'd like to see us 6 months after the loss to start talking options. I am amazed at how different this experience is for him emotionally - I don't know if he'd feel differently if we found out it isn't just my PCOS but also something on his end.
