gift ideas for a 2.5 year old that likes horses?
finding a present for a 2.5 year old should not stump me but my niece is the polar opposite of BabyPunk. she is more into girly things. you can tell BP is my kid becuase she has no interest in girly things.

anywho niece likes horses i assume because she is taking horseback riding lessons (yes at 2.5 years old, yikes!).
she likes playing dress up i think as i see her with pictures of her older cousins (4ish?) wearing dresses from Frozen and other various stuff. i think she has a lot of hand me down stuff from said cousins though.

she likes makeup i guess because while we were visiting she always had to have her lip gloss with her (i think it was an old one from her mom) and she often had a little purse.
im wondering if some piggie paint would be good (toddler nail polish) but i hate to send something mom and dad dont want. the piggie paint though more non toxic than regular nail polish is a bisque to get off.

im totally out of my element buying gifts for a girl who likes horses, dress up and make up.

also gift suggestions for a 6 month old boy please. again that should be a no brainer but i forget that age already and BP was never a typical child who liked things that kids at that age like.

My sister's 3 year old is all about horses too. She is going to get one of the horses they sell at Target for the My Generation dolls. They seem pretty nice and are around $30.

When Vax was 6 months old, he got this as a present and it was awesome:

I usually hate baby toys and think they are a waste of time, but this is simple, pretty, and entertaining. Vax played with it for ages.

A friend of ours got us a Roominate set for Christmas and we love it so much. It's a toy where you can build your own doll house out of modules and do basic circuitry and run it through an app. It's a little more advanced than Leela needs right now, but it is truly amazing and so much fun. We had a blast with it and Leela adores it. We're thinking of buying a few more modules.

Its on sale at Amazon - 40% off

i saw those when they aired on Shark tank glad to know they are fun IRL.

BP is too young for stuff like that but i know my engineer husband already likes looking at stuff like that and goldie blox and other similar things and wants to buy them like now.
