Ok, ends up we have something on the 21st. Did we want to try for this Sunday or just hold off until another day?

I really want to go to the shop-up but we have a bunch of stuff to do around here tomorrow. I want to try the Treeline Cheese!

Any ideas on where/when to meet on Sunday? It's not supposed to be that warm out but it should be sunny.

We're up for anything. What time works for everyone?
L is napping at around 1ish, so the earlier the better for a get together, if that works

That's when Ada has been napping too so we're up for an early meet up as well. I would say we should try to do brunch but I'm not sure where...

I'd be up for brunch. Do you think that low 50s too cold for the kiddos to just play around at a playground, while we eat bagels or something? I would definitely do brunch at a restaurant, but its so hard to get L to sit still.

I'm trying to think of bagel or coffee places that are near playgrounds. Think Coffee has a location near Washington Square Park and one a couple of blocks south of Union Square. I'll try to think of others.

Well, if we do Union Square, if it gets too cold we could nip into the big B&N and let the littles run around, right? And Pain Quotidien is pretty nice for brunch - plus has vegan options and soy milk for coffees etc

That's true. So lets do Union Square! We can get in as early as 10 or so.

yes I can do Union Sq...my office is next door to the B&N too if we have any diaper emergencies etc heh heh. I've never been to Pain Quotidien though. And for once, Sierra is seemingly on a similar nap schedule yay.

Oh Hurrah! I've been looking forward to meeting you! We definitely don't have to go to Pain Quotidien, it was just one place I know that we can def get soy milk and vegan food. Want to meet at the playground at 10 and then figure out where to go?

I'm sad that we can't make it tomorrow, I wish we could, but I want to suggest the peace food cafe opened a new location close to union square just recently. I haven't been there yet, but we go to the one uptown a lot and its baby friendly. Hope you guys have fun!

Sounds great! I'll PM you my number :)

I am so sorry you and the family are sick Ariann. We had such a hard time with the stomach flu, so I really feel your pain, and I hope it passes quickly.

We had such a lot of fun with everyone today! The Union Square playground is epic funtimes and I am still brushing sand off Leela! I can't wait to go back! And Dahlia, Ada and Sierra are all just such gorgeous little girls and it was so fun to eat yummy vegan food with lovely people. Thank you so much for the recommendation of Peacefoods Cafe, it was perfect. We got there when it was still quiet, its very childfriendly and the food was great. and I shared the seitan pannini and chickpea fries and a cookie, and they were all so good!

Peacefoods Cafe! Mental note, take pictures before children are running on fumes. This picture does justice to no one, especially not the incredibly beautiful Dahlia, Sierra and Audrey!

It was an amazing day, and there is no way it could have been any more beautiful or fun. We even got parking right by the playground and had no traffic going in and out of NYC - we made the trip in 30 minutes, which might be a new record.
