L feels fine, but is still contagious, so we have spent every single day inside since last Sunday. So we can't make it. Maybe follow up with Ariann on FB?

I am really sad to be missing this meet-up and the yummy dim sum! L's boils are clearing up, so once she is asymptomatic+1 week, we would love to get together again!

I'm so sorry that L is sick. We will be there, meet or not because our tummies are looking forward to it.

Ugh, it sucks that you guys have been stuck home the last few days. We'll have to do something else soon!

We'll see you at 10:30 tomorrow Butternut and Ariann! I told Ada that we were going to see Malka and babynut tomorrow and she said "oooohhhh! Those are my favorite! Those are my kids!" Ha.

That is so cute! Honestly, I am so sad to be missing this, but I am really happy that we didn't meet up last weekend and that none of you guys got sick. Supposedly kiddos are contagious during the incubation period as well, and this is really not fun, and I feel so bad for L. Its not the worst thing in the world, but its not comfortable and she definitely hasn't had an easy few days.

Enjoy the turnip cakes and other awesome yummies! I want to hear all about it and I hope there are pictures!

I hope you're able to get out of the house soon, Tlish! The stuck inside sick times are definitely the hardest!!

We missed you Tofulish and Leela! Hope you are feeling better. I think we forgot to take a group picture this time, but everything was yummy.

My trip home was a bit crazy. Instead of the obvious path to toddler happiness, babynut did not nap on the train home. She was fighting me so hard about getting into the stroller we almost missed our stop and a few stangers helped me wrangler her off the train (embarrassing to say the least). But the flip side of this was that she was asleep for the night before 7.

Great seeing you guys!

Oops - forgot about that group shot! The person with the nice camera didn't come and remind us! Malka was very excited to talk about all the kids after we left, even though she kind of couldn't be bothered to play with Babynut and Ada while we were together. She was really fascinated by Alice.

The food was, as always, delicious. I think I have pretty much figured out my ideal dim sum menu now. Malka even ate half a spring roll and a scoop of rice!

I'm glad you guys had fun. Still jealous of the dim sum though.

It was nice seeing you guys! We missed you Tofulish and Audrey!

Butternut, we had a similar rest of the day. Ada had a little meltdown on the subway platform (face down on the ground. Ew. Although probably better than the one the other day where it was laying on a pile of bird poop). It wasn't worth it to get her to nap so late so she was asleep by 7:30.

I would love to take L to see the dinosaurs and the frog exhibit at the AMNH. Anyone interested?

That's an easy playdate for us cause it's in our 'hood. ATM we are snot free but I can let you know if that changes. I can only do weekends, but my partner and L might be able to do a Friday or any weekday at 3. I'm guessing that would put you in a traffic snarl so maybe that's not doable.

There is a ton of stuff to see though. Monday might be better, although possibly not.

Monday the 20th is a holiday, so it will be very crowded. I try to avoid the natural history museum on days when school is out. If you want a less crowded day, I would pick a regular weekday.

ETA: since it is a holiday, I could do that day

We might be interested. Alice's naps just make it a little harder because she won't nap in the ergo for very long and she's more set on her two long naps now. We might be able to do an afternoon if she gets a good morning nap. I'll keep following to see when you decide to go!

I could do Tuesday, also, which is my day off, but figured we could do the long weekend sometime if you thought it was worth trying to brave the crowds, Butternut.

Oh yes, I'm fine for braving the crowds. Everything is always crowded. One good thing about going when school is out is that there won't be tons of field trips there. That can be a nightmare too.
