a bisque i worked with told me i must be having a boy because of how big my asparagus was getting. she was however, in hindsight, correct.

that's really interesting because one of the things that came out of the whole early risk testing fiasco is that my levels of the HCG hormone were really elevated. i didnt know those also made you nauseous.
at the very least i havent really been puking. i always feel like im ABOUT TO puke but usually it doesnt happen.

i find this sort of stuff fascinating even though a lot of it is indeed just old wives' tales.

also i guess this means we can all place our bets now that Duchess/Princess/whatever her title is Kate will be having a girl.

Ditto. I had a really easy and extremely happy pregnancy, and had a girl.

I've heard that your nose gets broader if you're having a girl, and shamefully admit that I think my nose did do that.

When I told my boss I was pregnant she said she had suspected as much because my backside was bigger! (I don't remember her exact wording but that was the idea) I did have a boy too, but doesn't everybody's butt get bigger during pregnancy?
