Has anyone who lives in one of the countries where they recommend vitamin d drops for babies (here in Norway it's 400 IU from 4 weeks) found a vegan source? I found one vegan source in UK, but its a multi-vitamin and the D dose is lower than they recommend here ( http://www.superliving.co.uk/index.php? ... &Itemid=45) and one source in Canada which is perfect, but I haven't had any shops that carry it respond to my inquiry emails yet ( http://www.tandjnaturals.com/pages/catalog.pdf). I ordered some adult spray from veganessentials since it's the right dosage, but i don't know how easy it is to spray in a baby's mouth versus putting a drop on the nipple ( http://store.veganessentials.com/global ... p3610.aspx) I'll find out when it arrives :). Anyone who has successfully bought a vegan d drop, or has used a spray successfully, please let me know!

Is there anyone in Canada who would be willing to buy me the drops and mail them to me (and I will pay you all costs, of course!)? I just heard back from one of the Canadian stores that so many vitamins get returned from Europe that lots of stores won't ship vitamins to Europe anymore and they suggested having a friend buy and mail me the drops.

I also used the spray, and when F was small, I found giving her drops or spray equally difficult. Not too difficult but sometimes I would spay her face. But now she loves the stuff and always opens her mouth in advance.

We were able to get a prescription D2 drop after a little research (only one pharmacy in the area could get it). I could get another one and mail it to you if you can't find another source! 2 drops are supposed to be 400 IU and I just drop them right into Scarlett's mouth and she doesn't mind.

D spray arrived in the mail today. We sprayed it into Littlemap's mouth. Not nearly as difficult as sucking snot out of his nose.

Snot out of the nose is the WORST.

Fwiw, we've used the spray with the bean for ages now and she too loves it. Occasionally I've had to spray twice because she closed her mouth, but I've never gotten her in the eye or anything. I take it with her and I think that helps..she finds it very entertaining!
