This thread makes me giggle. I love it!

All of guineapiglet's weirdness surrounds nursing. She's always had her nursing quirks but now that she's older they are just getting more hilarious. She likes to stop in the middle of nursing, smack her lips and then say "mmmm...yummy yummy" or poke my nipple then say "I like it!" but perhaps the all-time best is when she decides to turn my boobs into water guns. She knows how my breast work better than I do at this point and she likes to lift up my shirt then smack one side of my boob as hard as she can to make milk squirt out. The further it squirts the funnier she thinks it is.

Hee. Freya can't do it herself yet, but she loves to say (just tonight, in fact) "squirt!".

Yesterday, nursing before nap, she is slowing down and about to sleep, when she stops, pulls off, says clear as a bell "oatmeal!" and then drops her head down and is out for the count. Does breastmilk taste like oatmeal? :p

Today, I come to get her after a nap. I say "Hi Freya, how are you?" Her answer? "Fart. Fart...Freya fart". Nice.

Inez has started doing this weird, almost Valley Girl-esque accent when she's being goofy. I have no idea where it came from. Like "mah puh-paaay" for "my puppy" and "ah dahn naaah" for "I don't know." I need to get a recording of it. It's so funny.

Ada's new thing is dipping all of her food in water. Crackers, kale chips, chickpea cutlets, anything. And then her water is all gross but she still drinks it. I came back from putting Alice down for a nap just now and her black beans are swimming in water on her plate.

Actual conversation with Freya during breakfast yesterday:

F: DON'T TOUCH IT!
Me: What?
F: DON'T TOUCH IT!
Me: Don't touch what?
F: DON'T TOUCH MY (meaning "your"...she has trouble with pronouns) HAIR
Me: Don't touch my hair?
F: Yeah, don't touch Mommy's hair
Me: Don't touch Mommy's hair? How come?
F: Don't touch it!!
Me: Why not?
F: Don't touch it because (pause)...it's brown!

Okay, then.

Oh, that reminds me of wrestling babynut for an old fuzzy twizzler piece she found between the couch sections! I didn't win that match...
