(Father's note: I've printed the previously oldPPK'ed sections in blue. Those of you already hip to Cyrrivosk should feel free to skip those parts. Those of you uninterested in Cyrrivosk are encouraged to skip this entire thing.)

Cyrrivosk crept around a big pillar. he was spying on the school weirdo. he heard, "Get your tentacle off him!" the teacher was talking to Krakx, the school bully. Cronax, his friend said "what're you doin'? you'll get in trouble." fweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! the end of recess whistle blew. he ran to the cylinders, and floated up for his next period class

Mr. Karnox said "Krakx, Go to the office." Cyrrivosk muttered sarcastically, "I wonder what that was about." Then Mr. karnox started jabbering on about nuclear waste plugs, today's science project. at the end of the lesson some other guys toxic waste plug exploded, and he went to the nurse's office. And, the one who went with him was… Cyrrivosk. he (Cyrrivosk) was always quick to notice when somebody was hurt. he asked to the "patient" "what is your name?" "vonax." "vonax, do you want to join me and cronax at recess?" "Yes" said Vonax. a robotic voice said "WOULD YOU LIKE SOME LUNCH?" Cyrrivosk said "augh, another malfunctioning lunchbot!"

vonax laughed. "I'm a ventriloquist," a marble statue appeared to say. vonax said "nice trick, huh?" then, they went walking into the nurse's office. she examined him. he was fine except for a soon-to-be bruise or 2. they got in as mr. karnox said "...... and tomorrow we will be on a field trip."

Chapter 2:
whew! — thought cyrrivosk. recess was finally here! He strolled to the playground with vonax and cronax. the jungle gym was a geometrist’s dream. half globe with pentagons, dodecagons, dodecahedrons, decahedrons, etc. inside. they went in the jungle gym’s bars and shapes, and talked, and spied. who did they spy on? Krakx was who they spied on. they established that cronax was Krakx’ next target. they would tell mr. karnox after recess… “Mr. Karnox—” said Cyrrivosk. Mr. Karnox interrupted “—No time for that now, we are going on a field trip; NOW!”

They got on a hoverbus and rode to the “Kron” museum. they walked in as Cyrrivosk spotted a rare, floating marble sculpture.

Awesome. But then again, pretty much anything coming from OP is guaranteed to be awesome.

Alert: Optimus has a new PPK name!

He has registered. But I haven't made the official announcement. That'll have to wait until tonight, after I get home from work and see him.

Tonight's installment:

they walked past the plant covered stone idol of vrgnoom to look at the "straw miracle" the first floating sculpture. they rode the artificial waterfall to the artificial ruins of kron, the museums "mascott." they watched the broken dials of the first submarine ever shift under water, some kids walked to the stone carvings. but, before long, to Cyrrivosk's dismay they were back on the hover bus going to school. but... the rest of the school day zipped by cause he was so excited for tomorrow, and today he had a playdate with Cronax today and vonax tomorrow... before long, he was in the car with cronax, talking about their awesome playdate.

He's already outed himself in the 'indentity crisis' thread - I like his new name!

I love it too! However, a glue gun in the hands of a pre-teen is a scary thing (speaking as a parent of a teen and two tweens).

ETA Cyrrivosk is fantastic. I'll be waiting for each thrilling instalment.

ALERT! ALERT!

In the interest of accuracy and pedantry, i must announce that I have just learned that GlueGun did not make up the name Cyrrivosk.

It's from a Monster Manual-esque book called Liber Bestiarius.

As you were.
