We got Scarlett some ear protectors so she can go to shows and other loud places. They're adjustable and are supposed to be usable until around 8 years old! She doesn't seem to mind them.

Love love love Scarlett's ear protectors, my husband's a drummer so I can see something like that coming in handy at our place!

She also looks adorable in her dad's hand-me-down clothes! I've got a stash of home-sewn and -knitted clothes from the early 80s ready to inflict on our next generation too : )

That is an amazing outfit. Is that a belt or part of the lower piece? It is astounding in a good way. I love her ear protector picture too.

Older Girl soon after having had her head scrubbed due to some crusty cradle-cap-like stuff. Her hair dried like this and even after a full night's sleep it was still standing up somewhat, though not quite as high as here.

Also, she's kind of obsessed with Younger Girl's infant hats.

C&S if I didn't have my own little almost 7 month old, I'd say M is the cutest little dude around. I just love his cheeks and button! (I also love that hubby never changes!)

kdub, they do get along so well -- I hope they always do -- it's hard to believe they are 2 years apart sometimes. Raygold is Beety's wee sidekick. They are so fun to watch, Beetroot even reads to him!

mittenmacher, there are curtains that match the carpet, too! I never thought I would be living in a place with a tartan carpet; this place is such a hoot!
