Wow! What a story! I remember what a relief it was for me when I felt recovered physically, so I was then able to focus more on feeling like myself again mentally and getting used to taking care of a baby. I hope you get there really soon! Your babies are beautiful! Sorry, I can't remember-- is Emerson a boy or a girl? (I'm just making an assumption about Alice Josephine...)

Congratulations on your beautiful babies! Love the names. Wishing you a quick recovery and that your milk starts overflowing soon! (it was an overnight thing for me - went to bed one night normal boobs, woke up the next day with giganto, engorged, leaking bosoms!)

congratulations! they are adorable, and a great size!! you grew some big strong babies!
and i didn't really go through anything major at the birth (other than it being really fast and intense) but i had a uterine infection a few days later that needed 3 kinds of antibiotics and morphine for the pain, and so i totally feel you on the "not feeling like yourself" space you're in. it really does get better once your strength comes back... i was really mentally struggling for that week i was sick and then as soon as i started feeling better physically, i stopped feeling anxious and crappy and started really enjoying the new family i'd just created!
