Congratulations tank! What a beautiful name! Can't wait to see the pictures!

I have so much respect for mamas with a newborn and a toddler. It has to be really challenging. Sending you tons of good thoughts!

Thanks so much everyone! And congratulations tank! Amelia is such a beautiful name. Hope things get easier for you and you have a quick recovery.

I ended up having easy early labor contractions for most of the day on Sunday, then right when Sven went to bed things took off. Ended up being in active labor for less than two hours. It was very intense but I feel lucky it happened that way. I'm hoping to write the birth story at some point...

So far things are a little overwhelming! We feel pretty old hat at the newborn care stuff but dividing our time and attention between a toddler who just had his world turned upside down and a newborn has been difficult. I'm incredibly lucky to have Jason home for three weeks and then my mom coming for another two weeks after that, but I'm already scared for when I need to care for two on my own!

I'm pregnant again, not quite 4 weeks. This is pregnancy #4 (Walter was first, then two miscarriages). I'm sick to my stomach with worry, but trying to accept that there's nothing I can do to affect the outcome but be generally healthy. I have one healthy, awesome kid, and for that I'm really grateful. If this one doesn't work out, I think we'll probably be done trying, because I can't keep doing this to myself. I'm having blood drawn this afternoon and then again in 48 hours to see if hormones are doing what they're supposed to.

Think good thoughts please :)

And congrats to you, tank, and welcome Amelia! There is the cutest, spunkiest little girl named Amelia in Inez's music class and she's made that name a favorite for me.

Sending you tons of sticky thoughts, mitten! If you're measuring the hormone levels, will you also be looking to see if progesterone supplementation may be helpful?

I have all my everything crossed for you to have an easy, healthy pregnancy and delivery, and of course a beautiful, healthy baby at the end <3

Thanks for all the congrats everyone. It continues to be very hard and we are still figuring out how to manage simple tasks with 2 kids but it is slowly improving.

Thinking of you Mitten and crossing everything I've got for you.

I don't know, I hope so! My regular doctor was out of town this week, and I didn't know what to ask for.

I've been pretty nauseous, which is good, but I'm not getting my hopes up because I had all the normal symptoms last time, too.

Aw mitten... I have crossed every single body part that can be crossed for you. Hope those hormones are doing what they're supposed to.

Well, my hcg tripled in 48 hours, so that's good. And I'm nauseous 24/7, also a good sign. I have an ultrasound scheduled for two weeks from now, if I make it that far. I'm glad I'm so busy right now with holiday stuff so I forget to obsess about symptoms and what-ifs.
