Bumping this up because I cannot get enough MANGO! I could eat raw mango all day, every day.

I had pretty much no cravings and no aversions in my second pregnancy. I did go through a phase where I ate a lot of melon over the summer but that's it.

Oh, and coffee, but maybe just because coffee is like my comfort food.

Sushi and watermelon were my main ones this pregnancy, which is much better than the potato obsession with my oldest's pregnancy.

LB, when I started nursing last time Frosters from the 7-11 were almost a necessity. Maybe all that sugar is why we didn't have breastfeeding problems! (I know, bad mom)

I could eat sweets non-stop all the time anyway so I have no basis for comparison.

Well yes, but I use to have a limit. Like if I ate two sides of cake I would think it was enough, now I could probably eat an entire cake.

That makes me feel so much better. I make a batch of muffins every 2 days. I am the only one eating them

I'm really craving sweets, but I'm not sure if it's from the BFing or just the stress of it all.

oh god YES. It is ridiculous for me to be eating so much of it since I live in a decidedly non-tropical place but I can't help it, I've been getting my fix with Trader Joe's containers of mango that comes from PERU or something. I just can not eat another apple or orange; I hope the Locavore Police doesn't hear about me!

Oh, thank GOD! I feel like I'm personally responsible for global warming right now! Raw mango...in Washington state, in JANUARY.

Fortunately, my cravings seem to change every few weeks. Maybe next week I'll move on to something a little more local. (But because I said that, it'll probably be something like pineapple.)

I've been craving fruit since the beginning and in the first few weeks, all I wanted to eat were sour things like pickles and hot and sour soup. I sent my husband out for jars of pickles at least twice weekly and felt like such a cliche doing it.

My already insane sweet tooth has also going extra crazy, but I've been limiting myself to two sweets per week so as to maintain some semblance of a well-balanced diet.

Right now, I'm craving lots of fresh fruits, especially mango and melon, as well as popcorn and fries. At least greens still sound good to balance all those potatoes!

I don't think I've had any cravings in particular, although I have been eating a lot of fruit. Maybe it would have turned into cravings if I didn't have lots of fruit around. Also, I have been eating more sweets than usual.

Yeah, i'm a sweet eater anyway, but it was over the top when i was nursing. My theory is that we underestimate the number of calories those darn babies are draining from us. I combatted the sugar cravings with a very very high fat diet (gobs of coconut cream, olive oil, pb, etc.). It helped a lot.

yes! I never liked sweets before. then when I was pregnant I craved them and now it is even worse! I swear I get worse cravings now that he's out. And my stomach has been a mess eating just the stuff I have always ate.

You guys? I ate a SALAD yesterday. It was magnificent. I still think I could eat my weight in mango, though.

It feels weird to post like it's a normal day, but I'm reading through the playground before I can't (cries) and I thought I'd chime in here.

Definitely more of an aversion pregnancy than a craving pregnancy, but I've been pretty crazy for Peanut Butter Crunch with soymilk. I have it almost every morning. . . one giant bowl (sugar isn't ideal but hey. . . folic acid and calcium flicks the weasel?).

I also randomly get intense cravings for non-vegan things. Sometimes I find a suitable substitute but sometimes I move on. I haven't had 'eat this or die' type cravings, so that's nice. Except maybe the cereal.

Right now I want crappy boxed mac and cheese SO BADLY, but am able to hold out until I can get a box of EB tomorrow evening. Mmmm.

Last time, I just wanted iceberg lettuce and was eating a head a day! It was really expensive back then, too. It was, like, £1/head and now I can get it for 39p/head and sometimes less.

This time, I just wanted cake and doughnuts for the first two trimesters (this is really unusual for me because I don't usually have a sweet tooth), gagged at the idea of leeks and onions for the first two trimesters, and now I want to eat raw carrots and apples, cornflakes with cold soya milk, and these accidentally vegan mint creme chocolates from Aldi's.

And beer. I always have horrible cravings for beer when I'm pregnant!!

I'm pretty sure I just hated all food. I lived off chips, Pringles and ginger nuts.
