Lily http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/9152153Her story makes me so sad, and wish that someone out there would have a big enough heart to adopt her. I would love to, but being a college student with an erratic schedule, plus a few companion animals already, I wouldn't be able to give her all the attention and care she would need. Not to mention that she's been on petfinder forever (at least three and a half years...)

Poor little girl, I want to cuddle her and spoil her with kitty treats and belly rubs.

Oh, I wish I could take in Lily. I hope that she finds a happy home very soon, poor dear.

Banzai wants to come live with me. We're going on a small trip out of state in two weeks and we've agreed that after that we can look at kitties. Also killing me is Tokeo (I must have something for kitties named with mispelled Asian words) His tail has a kink in it and is like a corkscrew!

OK, I'm really seriously considering putting in an application to adopt Junior. He's so handsome! And he sounds like he'd make a good match for Amos. BUT, I've never had two dogs. Does the amount of work involved in having multiple dogs increase arithmetically or exponentially, I wonder? Or are two dogs not a lot harder than one?

Ferrets! I've always wanted one. I wonder how my two cats would do with a ferret? Romy Such a cute stripy face! Siobhan I love the white snout. And puppies!! I would so much love to have a dog, but definitely do not have a dog lifestyle/space right now. Plus I love huge dogs and definitely can't accommodate a 100+ lb dog in my tiny apartment! Sugar I just want to pet her ears all day! Patience I looove her eyes! and she looks like so much fun Dakota look at the freckles!

It can go either way depending on if they get along or not. We always had multiple dogs growing up and some of them were really great together and could be walked together and play together and they kept each other occupied and it was great. At one point we had two males who did NOT get along, though, and fought and fought and fought. That was tough, but we could've done some things different to avoid that. It's worth at least looking into having them meet!

I adopted a second dog about six months after I adopted my first dog. They get along so swimmingly I worry about what will happen if the older dog (who's about five years older than the other one) passes away. It doesn't seem like having two dogs is that much extra work because the way I figure it, you're already taking one dog out a few times a day, so taking two dogs out at the same time isn't that difficult. The same goes for feeding the dog/brushing it/etc.

Yeah, the costs double but like, feeding them and walking them doesn't take that much extra work. You could even bathe them at the same time if you wanted (and if you try this, please film it).

This is Sookie. Sookeh has a redonk face. I love dogs with redonk faces who I can recite True Blood lines at. This dog is huge and doesn't like cats, but her name is Minnie Pearl and that's really all that matters.

Clover "This sweet, sweet girl had a rough start to her life and is looking for a loving, forever-home. Clover spent her first 5 years in a puppy mill with almost no human interaction. Since April 2010, she has been bounced around in foster homes, the last of which resulted in her being brutally attacked by another dog in the home. Clover is so sweet and compliant, but also extremely shy. She wants very much to bond with someone, but isn't sure how and needs to be shown. She really just needs the right person to love her: someone who is kind and patient to teach her how to be loved. Clover is great with other dogs, cats, rabbits and children. She NEVER barks and is housetrained. Whomever adopts Clover will have the great pleasure and privilege of watching her blossom into a trusting, loyal, happy companion." I always want to go get the sad ones.

I wish I could get Clover. Then I'd have a matching set of sweet, shy, gorgeous Shelties who could be awkward together. I would love her so hard.
