I work at a children's hospital and sometimes they bring the therapy dogs in. I love those therapy dogs, they totally make my day. They were here today. Lovelovelove. They are so cute and well behaved and love getting pets. Awwww. They were so fluffy today. I wish they were still here.

Therapy dogs rock! My shih tzu was one for a while until changes at work meant I couldn't do it anymore.

Therapy animals are amazing.

There's a care home near Birmingham that has two goats, one pig, two rabbits, a guinea pig, ducks, chickens and an aviary of birds as part of a three year study into the effects of animal-assisted therapy as a form of intervention for people with dementia also suffering from depression or anxiety. Apparently the residents keep sneaking treats to them!

Oh, that's so awesome! I want to pet therapy goats right now.
