I think I just officially deemed myself the cat lady to all of my friends.

Got a text this morning asking if I wanted a kitten. Well of course I want a kitten, who doesn't! But seriously, I think my friend came to me cause she knew I would take it in. This kitten showed up at her door last night and was climbing her screen. It wanted in really badly! They left it alone hoping it was just a stray and would move on, but nope, it was still in her yard this morning.

They asked all of the neighbors and no one has claimed it. So they took him to petsmart to see if he has a chip, but he doesn't. And he has no tags or collar.

She is deathly afraid of cats, so the poor thing has been driving around with her sister all day and they are going to put him in the bathroom until someone claims him or hes going to the shelter.

So guess who's getting a new kitten tonight? This girl!

Petsmart told them that he seems to be a healthy 4 month old boy. He's all black and super affectionate, I'm told. I really hope this works out ok. I already have two cats, one is 8 and the other is just over 1. Our older cat hates the kitten we already have and she really was not happy with us for bringing him home. Sigh....why do people ask me if I want stray cats? It would break my heart to see him go to a shelter, plus hes black. Black cats have no luck at shelters.

Thanks! He has settled in and is taking over the house already. We named him Binx. I think this is going to work out for the best.

I have pics but can't get them sized right for some reason. Giving up for now, will post later!

He is precious and so friendly! This morning he was following me all over the house while I was getting ready for work. He even followed me into the shower. He is fearless!

Aw, such a cute story. I can't wait to see a picture! How are the older cats liking the new baby?

The older cats are doing so much better than I thought they would! Our oldest Kayla has taken to getting some much needed rest and is ignoring the other two at this point. I can hear her breathing a sigh of relief. Pluto our one year old has been pummeled and forced into playing whether he likes it or not. He is still a bit wary and timid, but I can see him coming around. The two of them have been chasing and tumbling around together for days now.

Ok, my photobucket has crapped out on me for some reason so as soon as it's fixed I have pictures!

Thanks, Binx is the name of the cat in Hocus Pocus. I thought it was more than appropriate!
