We have a thread for bad kitty kats so I thought we needed one for bad poochies.
After we adopted a second dog and both dogs were allowed to roam free throughout the house we started finding dog imprints on our couch with big piles of dog fur. Dogs aren’t allowed on our nice couch in our house. We KNEW which one it was. Our first dog is very obedient and would never go on the couch. Our secondly adopted dog has a mind of his own and does what he pleases. He wont go on the couch when we are home but we bought a cheap webcam to catch him in the act and sure enough he spends ALL DAY lounging on our nice expensive couch!! Not only that but he sits ON TOP on the pillows and the back of the couch basically killing the couch.

BAD DOGGIE!
Here are some screen shots of him caught in the act!

here he is just lounging away. how can i be mad at something so cute? as you can see i added a blanket to keep the fur on the couch down.
Image

here he is sleeping ON TOP of the pillows basically destroying them
Image

he also finds clean laundry to be quite comfy.
Image

aliens are coming to abduct my beagle mutt
Image

i dont have a picture of it but he also likes to lounge on the picture windowsill in the background and get nose prints and slobber all over the big picture window. he knocked down all the decorations i used to have up there. for some reason the halloween pumpkins i put up there have been a deterant so far but he is mightily displeased

Haha! I think this is what I would do if I was a dog.

My dog loves sleeping on pillows OR piles of freshly cleaned and dried clothes. His favorite is when I'm late for work and just throw a load of clothes out of the dryer onto the couch so he can get all up in it, kick 90% to the floor, and then nest in the remnants. Mostly underwear and socks.

Also, if my boyfriend doesn't stay over, Chester will burrow into the pillows around my head and settle into a ball on the pillow besides mine with his face 2 inches from mine on my pillow. He likes for us to be close.

My male chihuahua LOVES hopping up on the top of the couch cushions and in laundry piles. Even a freshly folded basket of laundry is fair game to him if it is still warm.

Unfortunately beagle types are pretty bullheaded and defiant, LOL. If you want him to be 100% off the furniture you're probably going to have to find a way to block him from that area while you're gone. I, on the other hand, just accept dog hair as part of my wardrobe and encourage people to not wear black when they come over. :P

Multiple incidents. Same m.o. Big dog pulls stuff down from shelves, little dog shreds. They both eat things that they shouldn't.

Here, they have taken every (full) bulk bag they could reach and carried them to the living room to destroy them.
Image

Here, the slaughter of the bags. Reusable shopping bags, empty dog food bags, plastic bags. A few clothes pins for flavor.
Image

Remnants of car camping supplies and other miscellanea. I think this might be the time they ate the coating off a bunch of Midol (but didn't actually eat them, thank god).
Image

Big dog broke little dog's bed.

the best part of the laundry pile is it belonged to my husband who doesnt put his laundry away for days.
i sent the picture of Marty lounging on his clean laundry saying maybe that would teach him to put his laundry away right away. he was basically like "meh, everything i owe is already covered in dog hair anyways" :-p hahaha i guess i lost that one!

Amos is a little thief. He looooves to be chased, so he will steal things that he thinks I will chase him for. His favorite spot to poach from is the laundry basket with my workout clothes. There are undoubtedly a couple of sports bras that I didn't bother chasing him for under my bed right now. He destroyed my old remote control; he leaves the new one alone because I used scaryserious mom voice on him.

Most of his naughtiness is just barking at everything.

I could tell you SO MANY stories. Here is today's. I was downstairs with Tegan. She doesn't go upstairs on her own, but my dad went upstairs and she followed him. I went up maybe 2 minutes later, to find the hallway and part of my bedroom covered in red liquid. At first I thought it was blood and was freaking out. But it turned out to be red juice. She picked up a cup of juice and somehow carried it across the room without spilling any. Until she got to the doorway, that is, where it appeared she threw the cup into the air! There was juice splattered on the walls to a height of about 3 feet. It was all over the carpet (light blue wall-to-wall carpeting. You can imagine the stain.). I don't even know how she managed to do it, but it must have exhausted her, because she is napping now.

So you've figured out how to tire her out... give her a way to express herself artistically.

the level of sloth happening in my house right now is a tad much.

Image

in case you cant read the captions the pinky one at the top is pointing to his paws up in the air and behind the pillow
the reddish/orange one is pointing to his head crammed behind the pillow.
the green is pointing both to the beagle asparagus and the blanket that it's not on.

and no he is not allowed on the couch!!!

BAD DAWG!

Hero loves loves loves to pull books off the shelves she can reach, and rip up just about anything white or paper. Here she got to a brand new box of trash bags and a paper towel roll. This is early in the stages of her getting them. Had I not gotten home when I did, it would have been all over my apartment, no longer confined to the dog bed.

Our dog growing up used to get into the garbage can in the bathroom and pull things apart. The most memorable occasion of this was when the Rabbi and his wife came home with us for some reason, and my mom had to divert them to the kitchen while my sister and hurriedly picked up the shreds of a used sanitary napkin that were scattered all over the living room. Bad doggie!

Yeah, years ago when my roommate had a dog, I came home and the dog greeted me at the door with a discarded tampon in its mouth. She'd pulled the garbage apart and scattered it while we were at work.

Gizmo loves to get into the bathroom trash if I forget to close the door all the way! Sometimes I've barely made it down the stairs out of my apartment and I remember I left the door open so I turn around and run back up and I'm too late. Little gremlin!

Add me to the list of people whose dogs love to eat bathroom trash. Weirdly enough though, my pup prefers to eat used Qtip swabs and then leave the chewed on stick parts lying around. He also loves to tear apart anything paper...tags you never knew existed on a couch cushion, receipts, mail, fresh toilet paper, etc. He's pretty good about controlling his "bad dog" urges these days though.
