Some level of "partial custody" between pet parents is not unusual, so hopefully you guys are able to make some sort of arrangement that gives you some time with Rowdy. I'm so sorry you are having to go through this. People underestimate how sensitive their animals are to changes like this, I'm not surprised Rowdy is acting differently. It'll be hard for him too. But you're doing the best you can in a really crumy situation.
