gah! i guess i knew what sort of responses to expect. i feel selfish wanting to take such an absurdly cute and adoptable little sweetheart, so i think i'll get in touch with the rescue and see how much interest there's been already. i can't imagine she won't be snatched up soon! one day, though, our family must include a little bitty pocket pittie.

aw, i know what you mean about black colored dogs having a hard time getting adopted, but i should explain what i meant about being selfish to take her-- she's PERFECT! she's a compact little 35 pounds, spayed, house trained, completely healthy, has a mellow personality even though she's young, and loves people, dogs, and cats of all sizes. how could she not get adopted? i'm still asking about her, though...

Adopt if you're ready (she is so freakin cute and cuddleable and adorable!) but be sure to realize how going from 2 dogs to 3 changes things. The adjustment period is worth it though and oh my goodness she's awesome!
