Hey guys. As some of you probably already have ready, Bonny was killed by another dog tonight. I'm just going to link to the post I made: http://donteatoffthesidewalk.com/?p=453Normally I am not into *hugs* and what not, and I normally wouldn't make a pity thread either because that's not me. But some people are, and the ppk has been there for me for the past few years, so I thought it would be dickish if I didn't open myself up to the ways that other people express their sympathies. I usually make horribly inappropriate jokes to deal, so if that's your thing, go ahead and do that too.

I'm not one to give *hugs* or even open up pet death threads because of what an emotional mess I am even when I'm not thinking about dying dogs, but I wanted you to know that I definitely virtually loved Bonny and it isn't fair.

From one person not into the touchy-feely to another:
I'm truly sorry that this happened and I can't even begin to imagine how I would feel in your situation. Knowing what awesome people you both are and how much Bonny was loved makes me know simultaneously that this was grossly unjust but also that Bonny was a happy, lucky dog to have people who loved her and cared for her so much. There's nothing else really to say, so I'll just send love and zombies and good vibes.

Mbm, I'm so sorry. Losing a pet is hard even under the best circumstances, so I can't even imagine how upset you must be right now. I don't like dogs much, but I couldn't help but love Bonny anyway. She was awesome and made life better for everyone who knew her.

I'm so sorry for your loss and I know you will miss Bonny terribly. It is so difficult to lose a pet tragically. There's nothing that can be said to make the pain go away but know that so many of us have been in similar circumstances and understand completely how you are feeling. Wishing you all the best.
