This is Piggy. I dogsit her sometimes. She's pretty rad. And pretty pretty.



By the end of the week, this ball was seriously saturated with drool. She never tires of playing ball. When I say never, I mean NEVER. She will run across the apartment until she's completely out of breath, but she still wants you to toss it. She brings the ball right to me and does this funny little toss to remind me to throw it. If the ball rolls out of reach, she'll bound over and bring it back. The toss trick also keeps her occupied when we were too busy to play. She'll jump up on the couch with it, toss it into the air off the couch, and run and grab it. It's pretty adorable.

When I was off sick from work last week this is pretty much what I saw all day. Jazzy sits there and stares and then squeaks and then if you ignore her will move closer and squeak again until you get up and give her biscuits. It's a bit unnerving after a while!

Lucia's big belly needs a lot of grooming. Luckily, the leg can sit straigt up like this for an impressive amount of time.

the two orange brothers look very similar to my monster brat pig Penny who is an orange abbysinian

Bruce is a sweetie, he's the most lovely lap pig in the herd and always gives kisses. There must be something about abysinnians having a certain kind of character, all mine have been headstrong to say the least!

She's so cute! I love the puffy cheeks/whiskers!

yes Abby's for sure have a certain personality "type"

my first piggie Punky was an abby and she was ORNERY. she was definitely the alpha pig and rumbled constantly even if there was no pigs near her. she was quite the character! R.I.P.

then my next Abby is the aforementioned monster brat Penny. WORST BEHAVED PIG EVER.
she is insane. she is way smarter than guinea pigs should be. i swear she problem solves. she is also afraid of nothing even though my dog tried to eat her once.
she used to burrow under the fleece all the time and upend everything in the cage. she pulls on bars and is just a little terror to the other pigs. chasing them around humping them.
i cant snuggle her cause she just squirms and squawks constantly. MONSTER PIG!

then my newest "baby" pig looks like a mix between an Abby and maybe a peruvian. she has a lil bit longer fur and then some crazy "rooster tail" pieces that stick out everywhere. but at the same time i dont have to give her a hair cut so it doesnt constantly grow. i call her an Abbruvian. i dont know if that is a real term but ive heard it a few times before and it pretty much describes what she looks like.
she also has quite the personality but is a little more snugglier than other abby's ive had.

all my other pigs have been crested or American pigs and they have all been super sweet and docile.

i have to say though the abby's entertain the heck out of me!

This is Hermes, he is like my first born since I'm never planning on having children. He is awesome.

Seriously, Moos eats just about everything. (Especially that one time when he stole and ate a bunch of my edamame beans, only to break out in a violent barfing fit 5 minutes later, that was tons of fun.)

i am at home watching over my pup, who was very sick last night. poor thing. she's a sensitive giant.



so i've been trying to get her to pose for me. she's not having it.



but i got one good one!
