This is Phil! I got to watch him for a few days a couple of weeks ago while he was in between homes. My friend Dave is Phil's new forever Dad, and both of them couldn't be happier! He is part corgi, part cotton ball:

My friend is fostering a German shepherd mix who I have fallen in love with. When we move out of our current apt we're planning to adopt her! Right now, she's best buds with my friend's pup, Penny, who is also an absolute sweet heart. One of their favorite activities is standing on the back of the couch and looking out the window: And this one is too cute not to share. Here's Penny Skyping with her brother, who was adopted by our other friend:

This is Archer, we mostly call him Archie though. I've been a cat lady my whole life, but I absolutely fell in love with Archie the moment we met. He is my animal soulmate. The shelter I adopted him from said he is a sheltie-doxie mix. He is most definitely part dachshund, but we're not so sure about the sheltie. Our vet thinks maybe long haired chihuahua, I think maybe pom.

Aw, Archie looks like a little fox!!
We had a pom when I was a kid. He looked so much like a fox that his previous family had named him Zorro :)

Yup, he's our little fox pup :) The shelter had been calling him Foxy, but we just couldn't call him that haha. Zorro is much cuter. Funny coincidence, my childhood dog also had a spanish language animal name. He was a great big sweet husky mix called Oso.

Sleepy puppy! Really he's an old man-dog(16!), but he thinks he's still a puppy.

I love all the animals! June helping me write a paper on the poetry of Lady Mary Wroth. Well, helping as long as I wanted to stay on that particular page...

This guy showed up on our porch yesterday morning and was still hanging out when I got home from work. Still has balls, no chip or collar, a little thin and acted like he hadn't eaten in forever. Vets think he's about 8 months old, and he's kind of a shiitake head. We're calling him Stranger. Not sure what we're going to do with him permanently, but he's hanging out here for now.

I was out getting groceries. When I came home, I walked in on a horrific crime scene. I went to get my camera, and returned to find the culprit EATING THE EVIDENCE: Look at this mortal wound on the victim: He looks innocent, but I can smell his breath, and it smells like deceit:
