We adopted Hank Scorpio yesterday! So far he hasn't eaten much of his vegan dry food (mixed with the food he was eating at his foster home), but he was desexed the day before so he still doesn't have much of an appetite. We gave him a vegan pig's ear to chew on we he got home though and he loved it.



He looks confused here but he was totally enjoying himself.

We feed our vegan dog V-dog. Ordinary dog food gave him terrible ear infections, but on V-dog they disappeared saving us the surgery that three vets had told us was inevitable.

He's eating VeganPet food, it's the only one we can get here. We ordered it from here, where we also got him some vegan shampoo. We mixed it in with the food that the rescue group gave us and he didn't seem to notice that anything was different. Once he's used to that we'll start adding in some leftover veggies and chickpeas, stuff like that, to give him some variety.

His legs are ridiculous. He has a long body resting on these tiny stumps.

My dogs aren't vegan but a treat I give them that happens to be vegan is a Kong toy stuffed with peanut butter and then frozen. The taste of peanut butter keeps them chewing on it for ages.

This is pretty much Hank's favourite thing!
