 Post subject: Help! Warner (my cat) just ate some leeks!

He threw up what he ate, do you think he is OK? Should we monitor and take to the vet if he gets worse? or just take the the vet right now?

He ate a couple bites of the leaves and immediately threw them up. He seems fine right now. I know that taking him to the vet is really stressful for him. I am going to watch him for a little bit and see how he is. He is purring and snuggling right now. Anymore throwing up and he is going to the vet.

Oh no Warner! I had no idea that leeks were toxic to kitties. Thank goodness he barfed them up right away. I hope he's okay and you guys don't have to go to the vet!
