So who is up for some camping? Quick FB poll indicates August, specifically 12-14 may work for interested parties.

I was looking at Mt Pisgah as an alternative, they have tent only loops!

Otherwise our old standby Lake Powhatan is available. We'll need to book soon so let us know if you are in!

Another option is North Mills which is right on the river. Lake Powhatan looks to be the only one with showers though. Here is the link for lake Powhatan

I'm out if the date is solid. I have a triathlon in Coeur d'Alene that weekend. I could probably come the following weekend, maaaaybe the weekend after. I don't want to be a Veganstock one hit wonder!

We won't be able to make it this year. We are driving down on the 16th to move chatter into her dorm in Winston-Salem (she moves in on the 20th).

I suppose I should've had a poll but is 19-21 an option for other interested parties? Id like to firm up date so we can book. I know our chances of panda sightings would be less as well as Vantine would have to be back at work on the 22nd.

If we did the 19-21, I would leave early Sunday AM. We have school on the 22nd. I would more than likely arrive earlier in the week so I could have time to stock up on Cheerwine for Toby.

I may be able to go in August. I'm house sitting for most of the summer but I think they get back earlier in August. So if some one from up north wants to split the costs with me, I'd be interested in driving down.

Oh I think we went to FB for the discussion. We are actually reserved for 12-14 because later didn't seem to work well.

Oh and I guess I should say what the official plans for veganstock this year are:

Mr Nil and I will be there from August 12 to the 16th. There are 2 campsites, one until the 16th and one for the weekend, 12-14. So anyone that is interested, let us know. I know Bergedy is going to be coming from the NE but her schedule on the 12th is a bit iffy so she might arrive on the 13th. We are driving from Maryland so if someone gets to Maryland by the 12th, then conceivably they could come with us but they'd either need a way back or be kidnapped with us until the 16th.

vegfest is on the 7th. just thought I'd add that in there if anyone is around earlier than veganstock. But I am totally down for veganstock any weekend. I am not sure about camping for me because I will probably be really huge by then.
