i don't know if you guys are interested at all in groupons, but i do an extensive search (sometimes multiple times per day) for my project:
http://www.facebook.com/vegangroupon / http://twitter.com/vegangroupon (lately posts haven't been reliably porting over to twitter, so i suggest going directly to the FB page if you have one.) i don't know if FB has an RSS or not.
eventually i'll have a real website, but i don't know when that'll happen. (i do have a domain, but nothing there yet. it'll be a double use website, actually mainly for my other project (vegancoupons) which is far more popular than the groupon one. (but it's also quite a bit older)

sooooo, anyway. i figured i'd post the 100% vegan ones here (when i remember, i can't guarantee.) :-p

as for the ones that reward their first time buyers, some of them have weird stipulations.
tippr has a really weird referral system. first-time buyers can get a bonus of $5, but only if i sent you an e-mail invite. so if you want an e-mail invite, send me a message with the e-mail address you plan to sign up with, and i'll invite you. (you won't get the bonus by just clicking a referral link)

living social will give you a $5 bonus, but not when you click a deal link, you will need to click my personal referral link and sign up before clicking a deal link. https://livingsocial.com/redeem_invite/ ... rc?ref=lnk

eversave is awesome, they'll give you your $5 when clicking any direct deal links i post. it's integrated into their system really well.

sowhatsthedeal is a DC only site, so here's GOBS' referral. http://sowhatsthedeal.com/ref/balli2032 you both get $5.

well, i think that's it for the sites that give the n00b a bonus. if you'd want to visit this FB note to sign up for the other sites, you're more than welcome. <3
http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_i ... 8497951699

:edit: found another!
We love that you love us and want your friends to love us, too! You get $10 Plum Dollars for every friend you refer when they buy their first Plum Deal.

And your friends? They'll get $5 Plum Dollars towards their first Plum purchase, too, if they purchase within 7 days!*
(so i guess wait to join until i post something you'd want?)

That is cool. I've been looking at groupon for a little while. I haven't found anything interesting yet that I'd want to do.

A few weeks ago I got half price tickets to the James Cotton Blues Band on Groupon! And this past week I paid $20 for $40 worth of product from The Body Shop.

I just wanted to say thanks for doing this. I used to check Groupon for several cities daily, and when I realized there were a bunch of groupon-like sites I got overwhelmed. Now I can be pretty sure that if there's a vegan-y groupon anywhere nearby you'll catch it. <3 Supercarrot!

i'm sure i miss a ton. i bet there are some that don't mention vegan anywhere on their deal page that are perfectly fine for vegans.

just today there was one for wholefoods that sold out at 8:52 this morning!!!

i will clue you in to one of my secrets. groopbuy.com. :-) they're an aggregator.

aaaalso!!!! if you purchased those weeklycinema deals, you might want to return them to the deal sites. they are now requiring people to call to redeem the tickets. (but of course if you're a normal subscriber, you can click and get them right away. i wrote them a letter.)

Quote:
hi. i just logged on to the website to redeem some tickets for this weekend, and i discovered that you are now requiring people to call to get their tickets.

this is absolutely ridiculous. i tried to call 5 times already, and each time i received the voicemail indicating everyone was assisting other customers.

it is NOT cool to change methods without notifying your customers first.

i see no reason why this change is required. okay, fine, maybe once to verify something, but calling each time to grab a few tickets is absolutely insane! the only reason i can see why you would have changed to this method is to "encourage" your users to switch to monthly subscriptions. sorry to break it to you, but frustrating your customers is a good way to ensure that those people will never become subscribing members.

so, weeklycinema.com totally fixed the issue, so we're on good terms again. (almost)

as for today's deals, there were so many that i used up all my free time making the posts that i don't have enough time to reformat them for the forums. my deepest apologies for sending you to the FB page.

but i will help you out with telling you which cities and which deals are in the cities:
seattle: turnpike pizza,
chicago: karyn's on green,
SF: nook,
philly: red hook,
avondale AZ: india garden,
DC: mezkerem,
LA: leaf organics,
lexington KY: stella's kentucky deli and
oshawa ON: choose a lifestyle cooking classes.

i think it might be close to hitting it's limit. (i think that's what it means when the flag is all the way to the right of the status bar thingy.) *my fingers are crossed that you get it in time.* if not, this is at least the 2nd time it's been featured, so i'll keep my eyes open for it for next time.

Awesome - does anyone use an aggregator of all the coupon sites? Yipit (http://www.yipit.com) has a bunch of cities and coupon sites on it.

i like groopbuy.com. yipit is okay, but there doesn't seem to be an option to only be e-mailed the vegan-only deals from all over the country. :-p (neither on groopbuy, but i just sign up for everywhere and then have an extensive pile of filters and labels in my e-mail)

so i just do a few searches a day directly on the sites.
(eventually i'll have a real site up and running and then vegancoupons.net will be considered an aggregator. :-) but for now, the FB page/ twitter feed will have to do.)
