Hi Boston PPK kids!

I would like to start out this thread about vegan Boston by telling you about a new fancy vegan joint opening this month in Teele Square in Somerville:

http://www.truebistroboston.com/

I just found out about it a few days ago and I'm super excited about it.

Anyway, we can use this thread to talk about exciting Boston vegan news, beans, Tea Parties, fifes, etc.

They sound pretty good! I'm glad we're getting more veg*n places to eat in/around Boston.

Maybe we should have a Boston meetup there (or somewhere else) soon?

I drive by the future location of True Bistro on my way to get takeout from Pulse Cafe pretty much every week, it looks like it'll be pretty nice!

They were trying to drum up some support on the BVA forum last winter, and I've been waiting anxiously for them ever since! I am down with a meet up!

In the meantime, Life Alive just opened up in Central Square, and though they don't say it on their website, they have daiya! I just went tonight and had a warm cheesy wrap. It was awesome, and it's right around the corner from me, so I STRONGLY encourage a meet up there while we're waiting for true...

That would be great; our schedules are insane around here right now, but maybe sometime in the second half of November?

I was wondering when you'd be around here, I'll put it in the calendar! (Maybe we should build an epic meet-up around the book-signing?)

I would do a meetup at melisser's signing for sure...haven't been to Peace o Pie since I moved up here. Are they gonna be serving food and stuff during the signing or will it be too crazy?
