You guys! I just came back to Bellingham. Alas, I will miss another meetup. I did go to Wayward today for the first time and it was lovely. I had the pancake combo thing. I did not like the tempeh bacon, but I am a tempeh hater.

Any of those times are fine for me. I will entrust you locals to suggest where is good to eat! If someone could give me a ride that would be helpful, but if not, y'all can help me figure out how to get there on the bus. :)

There are lots of good restaurants. What kind of food do you like? Anything you don't like?
I'm not terribly far from Maple Leaf, so I can pick you up.

I like all kinds of food. I've been to the Wayward Cafe, Thrive, and Pizza Pi...and some interesting Chinese place, but it was back in May and I don't remember where it was or what it was called, only that we had to go up a bunch of stairs to get there. I'd love to go somewhere new or I'd be happy to go any of those places again. I'm excited to be somewhere that all-vegan restaurants even EXIST. I've spent most of my life as a vegan living in Indiana, where there are none. ;-)
monkeytoes, I'll PM you my phone # and address. Thank you! :)

Hmm, so you haven't been to Georgetown Liquor? And haven't had the most amazing sandwich known to mankind (I speak, of course, of the coveted Picard)? Because that's an option. I don't know what Chinese place you might be talking about, but I am pretty un-knowledgeable about restaurants. SweetT and FootFace know 'em all. It's definitely not Bamboo Garden, which is another option.

I'd rather that we skip the drinks, since I don't drink and I'll need whoever's driving me to also not drink...but I love eating and any of those choices sound good to me!

I'm done with not meeting people. And choirqueer is here, so it's a perfect time to get off my lazy booty and meet you all. Unless it's a 21+ place. Just know guys....I am ready. ARE YOU READY FOR ME?
Also, it is snowing like the end of the world in Lynnwood/Everett. It just started with these big fat flakes in Shoreline (where I am right now). I was going to take the bus to Northgate, but now I'm wavering. I just want to buy clothes!

Yeah! It was Teapot! Their egg drop soup was amazing...I had to actually call the waiter over to confirm that it was really vegan. They were really sweet about it and explained exactly what was in the soup (and I felt a little bad because they seemed kind of offended that I thought they would put egg in my food!) Is it not Chinese? My friend who took me there said it was Chinese. Whatever it is, it's fantastic.
I don't think I've ever had Vietnamese food! So I'll choose Moonlight! But I'd be happy with any of the other options too, as long as we go somewhere under-21-friendly. (I'm 25...but I want everyone to be able to come and I want to meet missdelaney! :D)

Also, I went to Araya's for lunch today with my cousin (who I haven't seen since I was a little kid!) and her partner and their tiny baby. It was pretty good! Saltier than I usually like my Thai food, but tasty. I really liked the coconut milk soup. The 8-month-old baby loved the steamed broccoli.
