Hello hello,
Figured I would take some pride in my town and start up a thread for Tacoma, WA.
We've been blessed with some lovely vegan spots lately, here are a few:
Quickie Too - I highly recommend their Sunday brunch menu Caffe Dei - New and awesome coffee shop with a plethora of vegan menu items University of Puget Sound cafeteria - I hear it is super vegan friendly, but have not yet been Corina Bakery - vegan pastries available (they make vegan wedding cakes, too) Shakabrah Java - vegan options available for breakfast
...that's all I can think of at the moment...any other Tacoma people out there lurking? Please add to the list!

Thanks for posting this! I live a bit south of Tacoma (in Olympia), but I'm excited to check out some of these places when I have a chance to visit.

We went to quickie too last week and enjoyed the food, but were the only. people. there.
I felt just a little awkward. I'd go back, though, because that wrap was dang tasty.

It should be illegal to post about Tacoma and not mention Gateway to India.

When I was in town very briefly yesterday, I saw a sign for a tea bar at Urbanxchange that mentioned vegan pastries! They're located downtown at 1932 Pacific Avenue.

Hello Tacoma people! I will be in Tacoma in May for a conference. I believe that we will be staying at the Hotel Murano (where the conference is located). I searched Google maps for vegan near there and came up with a few places (Quickie Too, Amerawcan Bistro, Corina Bakery, and Infinite Soups). Is there anything else near there that has vegan options? I'm not sure if I will be able to eat anything at the conference or not so if there is somewhere close for a quick lunch or breakfast that would be great to know!
Also, it is my birthday on one of the days I will be there and I would like to go to dinner somewhere tasty with coworkers. I think that we should be able to drive somewhere for that. I really like Asian food, especially Chinese (mock meats, and noodles that are not rice are my favorite things). Is there anywhere in Tacoma with mock meats (similar to Moonlight in Seattle would be awesome). I will search on my own as well, but I would love some ppker advice and recommendations!

No mock meat type places in Tacoma that I'm aware of, but there is Saigon-Rendezvous in Olympia, maybe a 20(?) minute drive.

Bummer no mock meat! I don't think they'll want to drive to Olympia, your Gateway to India suggestion above sounds good though.
