I am going to be in LA this weekend....I actually only live in the OC, but am going to 2 big concerts, so it makes sense to just stay in LA.

I have a lot of friends there, and we want to go to dinner on Friday and maybe Saturday so i was hoping someone here could suggest some vegan friendly places. Not vegan/vegetarian, but just veg friendly. (and they need to serve booze!)

We are staying in Hollywood, and our friends live about 15 minutes away on side streets...north I think. Off of La Cienega. Dont want to have to go more than about 15 minutes out of the way.

Any suggestions that you know of are welcome...but i would like to stay away from Thai/Indian food, since most of us will be drinking later. Mexican would be good!

thanks in advance! it is always helpful to have real life reccomendations, rather than just browsing on the internet. and if there is another thread like this, sorry please send me a link. i couldnt find one.

The Quarrygirl blog will tell you everything you need to know.

This thread might help, too.

Enjoy!
