where do you buy your vital wheat gluten, chicago?
bulk or packaged, i haven't seen it anywhere! i guess i've only really checked a few whole foods and green grocer... i'm willing to order it, but i thought i'd ask. thanks.

You should be able to find it at Whole Foods or even the supermarket, I'm sorry to hear you haven't found any yet! I buy mine from either Whole Foods or Jewel (regular ol' supermarket). Look in the baking aisle with all the Bob's Red Mill stuff. Good luck!

i've seen it in a lot of grocery stores. unfortunately, i havent seen it in bulk anywhere here! why does chicago have an appalling lack of good bulk bins? and co-ops in general? anyway, i can even get it in some of the mexican super markets in my area, like tony's, and its definitely at wf. look for the "natural" aisle at regular supermarkets, or like bunz said it's in the baking aisle at wf.

which whole foods do you shop at? i've checked baking aisles at whole foods and in the natural section at jewel, and while there was plenty of other bob's red mill stuff, i didn't see any. maybe i'm blind...

I used to work at the Lincoln park wf, off of north ave. I also get it at the Tonys on Fullerton and central park.

I shop at the Northalsted Whole Foods (Halsted and Waveland) and they've always got it. It sucks you're having such a hard time finding it, in Chicago of all places!!
