I am moving to Whidbey Island, WA at the end of the year. Close to Vancouver and Seattle, sounds like an awesome time! Plus, my parents will be moving to Alaska this year so that will bring me much, much, much closer to them! Also, planning a wedding! Has anyone here ever had a destination wedding in Hawaii?

I have no info about Hawaii, but wanted to say how awesome it is to live on Whidbey. I'm originally from Fidalgo Island, which is directly north of Whidbey, and even connected by a bridge. (Deception Pass, super beautiful area!) Congrats on your move and impending wedding!

I also just want to add my congratulations on your move and your wedding. It seems like you have been through a lot in Japan and its nice to think of you being somewhere that works better for you and your family. And you and Mr Dragon have always seemed very happy together:)

Whidbey Island is gorgeous.
Probably my favorite island part of Washington state.
