Hells yes to the Eug! I grew up there and went to undergrad there, and think it's great. So much good food and so many good people! If I was still there, I'd totally be your friend! Also, I'm glad to hear that you have a daughter there with you. Eugene was an ideal place to grow up.

Well, this little chicky is in the Eug... Pm me! How old is your daughter? I have three kids and they are pretty awesome (carrotflower can vouche for us!)

I just spent the weekend in Eugene for the first time and it was so beautiful!
Some highlights....
The no-longer-a-food-cart Cornbread Cafe is charming and has a fun (all vegan!) menu. I was a little sad at all the cashew-based stuff, but it was so nice and what I had was so good that I didn't care.
The salted caramel chocolate cupcake at Sweet Life was delicious and had a decadent, brown sugary coconut-based frosting.
Sisterslegume is a great tour guide! (and I'm not just saying that because I'm dating her sister) <3

The blueberry fritter was too soft scone for me, but my gosh, that cupcake. I'm not sure on the final cinnamon roll verdict yet...
