Bummer. Asked for days off, but someone is already called off, so there isn't anyone else to work if I was to call off, so, no days off for me during veganstock. Now, I DO have a morning off, but that's because I work in the night. I have a campground talk. Would you be interested in attending the Lycophyte show? My boss might be there, so if she is, you guys would have to be super awesome participants that make me seem awesome but not let on that you know me.

If you have a night off, you can Rosettas with the gang. Also, are we allowed to hit on you during campground talk?

Yeah, I'll be around during the evenings (except for the working evening), just not a daytime for tubing or sliding rock. Well I'll be off on Monday, but lots of people haul out at that point!

I work Thurs night too (but its leading a hike so if anyone wants to go on a hike in the evening...), work daytime Friday, evening Saturday and daytime Sunday. Off Monday. So Friday Rosettas is best for me!

If my boss is there I'll give you a secret blink, which means maybe don't hit on me muuuuch. But if she's not maybe.

I'm sorry to see some people won't be able to make it and we'll definitely catch up with Lycophyte somehow :)

We might need to borrow a tent from Lycophyte but looks like we are ok so far. If not, we'll just get REAL friendly.

I was getting the camping gear out this morning and I'm excited. Look forward to seeing everyone that is coming.

We'll have to see how we schedule dinner, I imagine if we wanted to go to the talk, we'd have to either get an early dinner in town? But then we might not have an official 'campground dinner'.

Also, Lycophyte, you are off Monday? You want to go to Rosetta's when it opens Monday? I have to email panda but I know she also needs to get to the airport in the afternoon but our car might be a bit full, depends how we pack :)

I am so far getting a ride from airport from lycophyte and then need a ride from town to the campground on Friday some time, maybe with vantine?
We could do Friday night tater pigs at the camp since Carol can be there.

Also, vantine, are you bringing your usual tent again? We should have enough then.

If you wanted to come to the talk...I DO usually do a campfire for the talk unless its been raining, so could do pie irons in that fire I suppse!

Although a few of us are traveling light, there are a few things that you should try to remember to bring:
Flashlight
Chairs (if possible)
Silverware/plate/cup/etc
Soap

Some of the things I'm bringing:
Couple extra chairs
Couple extra plates/silverware/cups
Tea kettle
Camp sink, soap, sponges, towels (extra towels are always good)
Axe, Saw, lighter fluid, lighter, charcoal (wood - we buy at the campground)
2 canopies (we'll set up at one campground for common use)
Propane stove, single burner
Rope for a clothesline
Measuring cups & spoons
cutting surface
2 kitchen knives
Mixing bowl
potholders
a spatula & spoon
grilling utensils (long spatula, long fork, etc)
Couple cast iron pans

Possibly some other things beyond food items.

I was hoping prices would drop last minute (it's happened in the past), but they seem to be rising. Sad I have to miss this yet again, but my best friend's wedding that I have to travel to is draining my budget. Y'all have fun!

Also, bug spray and citronella candles/torches is a must this year. Mosquitoes are off the hook with the previous warm winter.
