They are sites 22 and 23. One is supposed to be better than the other, so maybe if there aren't a ton of people we can kind of congregate in the good one. Anyway! Excited!

Oh, and we always borrow all my dad's camping stuff (because we are bums) so we will have sooooo much stuff. Like a full kitchen with a stove/lantern rigged to run on propane and an extra (big!) tent and and 3 or 4 cots and just like 60 years worth of camping crepe. So if anyone is light on gear, we've probably got you covered. Except for sleeping bags and chairs.

I have an extra sleeping bag if anyone needs one. And I have two chairs and can get a couple more from biker boy if we think we need 'em. (I'm pretty sure he won't come because he kinda hates camping.)

that's basically my plan, but it involves a) borrowing camping gear, and b) figuring out my ride

as for food, I think just bringing a bunch of simple stuff sufficient to feed yourself, and we can either be communal, or split it up depending on who feels like what. I'm mostly planning on easy things that can otherwise end up on bread: avocado, hummus, falafel, etc. some muesli typed stuff for brekky. and then something a bit heartier for dinners: beans, quinoa, soysages, etc. then some fruit/nuts for snacks and I'm set.

So this is shaping up to be just monkeytoes, joshua and La Familia Pinko rattling around our two big campsites? Hey, other people! Come camping with us!

Anyway, I'm fine with kind of fending for ourselves food-wise. But we'll likely have enough of whatever to share, too, since it's a pretty small group. I always pack way too much food.

What kind of gear do you need, Josh? We can probably hook you up. And where will you need a ride from?

Oh, and monkeytoes! Do you think Amos would be bothered by Soda? My parents offered to dog-sit that weekend, so we don't have to bring her if things would be more chill without.

ha :) pretty much everything. both piles of everything I have is an ocean away in two directions! but I'm okay with minimal gear: sleeping bag/mat, tent, and mess kit are the essentials :)

Amos and Soda met once before at the picnic at Gasworks. They seemed OK together, I think. He can be a bit of a snot on-leash sometimes, but mostly just with dogs that are off-leash. He's never been snotty past an initial meeting, though.
