Specifically:on a Saturday night. We're headed to a wedding there in a few weeks; we know the reception will have nothing for us so we're going to cut out after the ceremony and take a couple other folks with similar dietary ideology, grab something to eat, then go back to the reception. In the past we ate at Quiet Storm and really liked it so as long as it's open at that time we'll probably go back if we don't hear otherwise. Just wanted to see if any locals had any "if I could only have one meal in Pittsburgh" advice.

Spaghetti warehouse if that is still there or the italian oven

Quiet Storm closes kinda early on the weekends. if i could only have one meal in pgh, it would hands down be Spak Brothers - only a couple blocks away from QS on Penn Ave, and open at night. it is a pizza joint with AMAZING seitan hoagies (if you like a little spice, get the seitan melt style with buffalo sauce). they also have seitan wings and pizza with daiya and a few fake meat choices. it's mostly take out, but they do have a few places to sit in there. if there is a show at any of the venues within a few blocks of there, wait time can be kinda long, but well worth it.

Thai Cuisine on Liberty Ave, Bloomfield (make sure it is thai cuisine and not thai gourmet - they are super close but TG is not vegan friendly). they have a separate vegetarian menu with a lot of same dishes on reg menu, so be careful when ordering that they know which one you want it from.

Abay on Highland Ave in East Liberty. Ethiopian with lots of stuff labeled as vegan on menu, all of which is delicious.
