How is the public transportation in Orlando? I'll be going there in December in an RV, so I won't be able to get around on my own once we're there! How's the cab fare?

where will you be parking your rv?
i use to live in orlando six years ago and was dependent on public transportation and overall it wasn't stellar back then. things could be different + better now.

I've been living here for three years and have been way too intimidated to ever take the bus. my friends that do use it don't really have anything good to say, either. I hear that it's late a lot and it takes forever to get anywhere. and cabs are pretty pricey since they're not widely used. :/

We'll be staying at the Hard Rock Hotel. I have a non-road bike but my boyfriend doesn't have one at all. We totally just want to be able to make it to Ethos for Sunday Brunch. We might have to do without if we can't swing a cab. If I remember, it's a 15ish mile distance between the two? I don't really have a budget but I don't like to be wasteful either.

the distance isn't bad, it's the roads you have to take to get there. riding through the not-so-nice part of town (Orange Blossom Trail Rd. area) is kinda inevitable, unfortunately.
