Holler at me! I still am desirous of a Maine-based meetup. I will travel for said meetup. Lets make this happen!
also, lets talk about how awesome it is here (until it snows, and then lets complain!)

Complaining about snow is not allowed! You live in Maine. Snow is good for you. Also it is beautiful. When people from northern New England complain about snow I have to tell them to stfu or move to San Diego where they can enjoy the same lovely day for eternity. Really, I think you have not spent enough time in the park making snowmen and sledding. Snow is great. Bring it, winter!
Now that that's off my chest, I live near Bangor, which is about 2 hours north of Portland. I am willing to drive to Portland for a meetup. Lots of restaurants to chose from.
Also, isn't the foliage lovely this week? Lucky us.

Yeah for a NH/ME meet up!
Would the Portsmouth/Kittery/York/Wells area be good for meeting up? Also, are there good veg places around there? I was a huge Friendly Toast fan until I heard about all the health code violations, so now I pretty much just go to Bagel Works when I'm in the area.

Portsmouth is pretty far for me, but I am clearly the outlier up here in the north woods. I will be in Saco/OOB this weekend, but after that I'll be having a kid, and probably won't be south of Belfast for a couple of months. If anybody wants to grab tea or lunch on Sunday, let me know.

It looks as though now I could only do Saturday this weekend, but that is very short notice, so maybe I'll get to meet you all in January or February, with BabyMitten!

YES! Only I may complain about winter! And that's because it was 85 and humid as heck yesterday. I want my giant snowdrifts back! I hope to be back in March-ish. Find me a high paying PT job and a place to live in/near Portsmouth. Thanks!

Has anybody else checked put the new Trader Joe's in Portland? I was there on Sunday morning and it was a zoo. I was in line for at least 20 minutes. Worth it for chocolate-covered cherries and caramel corn? Maybe.
Also, I love the whole foods salad bar. It's a good thing I live 2 hours away, because I am the queen of $15 salads.

Okay! Plans to return are revitalized! If anyone knows of a good job and/or place to live in the Kittery area, let me know! Thanks :D

Wait...What's happening with a nh/maine area meetup? Are there more than 2 of us? Portsmouth, Kittery, or Portland would be fine with me! Although I surely live closer to Portsmouth.
As far as the Friendly Toast goes....Health codes smeatlh vodes. I have eaten there so many times and sure it even looks dirty but it's delicious...and the owners explained that stuff anyway...seems fine
