Hey, you crazy kids! I just wanted to let you know that Chicago VeganMania, the region's largest, free, all-vegan festival, is happening again on September 29 from 10:00 - 5:00 at the Broadway Armory, 5917 N. Broadway in Chicago. This is a new, bigger and more comfortable location, very easy to reach by public transit, especially the Red line. Even though it is an unapologetically vegan event, we are welcoming and inclusive to all. In addition to speakers (such as Victoria Moran and Ginny Kisch Messina), panels, bands, cooking demos (such as The Vegan Black Metal Chef and Miyoko Schinner of Artisan Vegan Cheese), dozens of cruelty-free vendors and an all-vegan food court, we will have a children's area and a Vegan Rockstar Photo Booth. The first 100 in line ages 16 and up will also get a complementary swag bag full of great vegan goodies. Please let me know if you have any questions. We always need volunteers to pull this one off and you'll get a free Chicago VeganMania shirt.

We are, too, EmJaeDee. We wanted to be there last year but they were still rehabbing it. So 2012 is the year. :)
