Araya's is moving right across from Wayward. Which means we'll have Wayward, Araya's, Pizza Pi, and Vegan Haven Sidecar all in one tiny cluster.

If we could just get a Sweet Pea-style bakery there...

They're taking votes on what to call the area. On Sidecar's facebook, V-District seems to be the most popular except for the people who think it will be shortened to VD. But does anyone call the U-District UD? No.

And, yes, we need an awesome bakery there too.

Wait, I thought I made up V-District.

Evidently something close to everyone (and all of their friends) have been calling it V-District forever. Or since Wayward opened there anyway. They probably all heard it from you.

Araya's is moving again? And how did I miss that they have a Bellevue location?! That's like 6 months of buffetness I have been missing out on.

Flying Apron used to be in the U-District, but it was over on Brooklyn I think. They are not nearly as good as Sweet Pea though.

Clearly I need to move to Seattle and open a vegan bakery. I can't promise it would be as awesome as Sweet Pea, though.

Uh, yeah.

I'd move back for that.

Man, you have no idea how much I really want to. I freakin love Seattle. Why must everything require money?!

I have a great idea for a bakery, but I don't know the right time to divulge it.

And possibly no longer in existence? She was selling off dishes and fixtures which sorta sounds like going out of business to me. She should have opened up shop in the V District.

Not that I know anything about running a business, but I could have told you she was in trouble. You walk in and see four cupcakes to choose from*, you know they're not doing much volume.

I believe she had to close up the store front due to some health issues but is still doing special orders. I may be wrong.

I also think poopiebitch should come to Seattle and open up shop! The pics ive seen of your work is AMAZING. Id definitely drive an hour to buy some goodies.

That would make sense. I didn't see anything on facebook specifically saying she was going out of business, just a post here about "if you have a favorite mug come by and claim it" and a post there about selling off some fixtures.

I heard that there could possibly be a food cart in the area... someday! My friend had a restaurant down here but they sold and she hopes to do something with a higher food making to service hours ratio. I pray that there are hot dogs.
