Go to Scotland! Amazing history, scenery, culture, food etc. etc.

Norway is SO amazing. SO SO amazing. Everyone is so nice and the scenery...just wow. So, there goes my vote :-)

We went to France a few years ago and spent a few days in Paris but them skipped around the rest of the country. Grenoble is in the Alps and was a really nice town with hiking and nice hotels/hostels. We mostly cooked our own meals the whole time we were there. If you're interested in the south of France I highly recommend Nîmes. It was full of old Roman parks and buildings which was really cool. If we went back to France tomorrow though I would go to Brittany. We stayed with some friends there and it was absolutely amazing. Amazing hiking and old cities to walk around in. The weather can be really rainy but that's just part of the deal I guess for such a beautiful place. The food was very dairy/seafood centric but we were fine cooking our own and with such great cidre who cares about the food!

Outside of France my partner went to Poland and the Czech Republic many years ago and is anxious to go again since he loved it so much. I would really love to go to Norway too, especially Bergen area.
