So, Melisser's coming to Brighton on the 1st of December, yay! She was planning to do a book signing at Red Veg but sadly the Red Veg dudes have been a bit useless & it's not going to be happening BUT Melisser's still coming so we should go for dinner on either the 1st or 2nd & show Melisser that Brightonian's aren't all useless & incapable of arranging stuff! I was thinking Pho might be good because I went there the other day & it wasn't too expensive AND the food was great (I blogged about it here : http://veganinbrighton.blogspot.com/201 ... 5-pho.html ) I've also wanted to try the Raw restaurant upstairs at Aloka for ages but you can't see the menu on the website & I have no idea if it's Saf style raw food pricey or not - has anyone been? Who's up for it & what date's good?

I just saw this thread and I'm bummed because I'm busy both nights!

I just read your review of Pho and it looks amazing! Rors might be with me, or he might not. Have you called to see if they're open tonight and not crippled by staff claiming a snow day?
