I don't know when your trains arrive exactly and I'm not fully familiar with that train station, so I suggest we meet in the glass (pedestrian) bridge that connects the train platforms and leads to the main entrance of the station.

It's easy to spot and there is a coffee stand thing as well (as far as I know).
I aim to arrive 10:45-11:00 at that coffee stand and then wait till every one is there. If your train is delayed for what ever reason we'll wait till every one is there.

That sounds like a plan.

I just spoke to Marijke and she agreed to meeting us in front of Lush after 6. Our hostel is a 12-minute walk from the train station where Lush is located. So! I suggest we all go to Lush at 6 and then she takes us to her favorite restaurant!

jerusha, where did you want to go for brunch on Saturday? Miller's? Maybe we can set a time and place soon so that everyone knows where to go on Saturday, especially those not in the Dutch car...

I'm just not really sure whether its easy to park near Lush... its in a pedestrians only street.... was in Lush on Friday but Marijke didnt work! So will see her hopefully tonite...

sorry, miau and I were talking about Saturday morning. I wont be there Friday night and neither will miau be, as I understand.

Hmmm... I vote for somewhere else as your hostel is so much out of the way, but on the other hand the parking space might be better for miau and others travelling by car...

I'm not sure if I will come by car or train. Either way, I think it's smart to meet where we want to have brunch. I know that Miller's in St. Pauli (near Reeperbahn) has vegan breakfast options. We could also meet somewhere easy to locate, as in: in front of the Rathaus.

Me too...I'm an early morning person! I eat breakfast around 7 every day, haha, so this will be a brunch for me I suppose. I'm forking pumped for this trip, btw!

It depends on where I am at the time, but I don't really mind either way. Just text or call me when you guys are in town and we can figure it out. Lush and the hostel are only about 5 minutes away from each other.

Oh fork, I forgot we'll be travelling within the city. Not too excited about that.

I've been looking at that and I think that it might be best to buy Ganztageskarte.

The 9 hour pass is cheaper, but only for 9 hours. Which means that if you start at 10 am, it only lasts till 7 pm.

You can't get group Ganztageskarte (I think?) and Tourist groups cards have to be bought at least two weeks in advance. (so we're too late for that)

We will probably be strolling around town for a bit, so it could be smart to come with comfortable walking shoes.

yeah, I think Großbereich (thats 9,60) should be enough. That covers most of the interesting parts of Hamburg. and yep, its for 5 people. I can have one person travelling on my card, too.

I would really like to see a church, the Rathaus and maybe the botanic gardens. Also I'm quite curious about the Reeperbahn! Maybe we could go there on Saturday night after dinner? ;)
