REviving this thread! Does anyone know of a good thai or vietnamese place in Pittsburgh? ALSO- has anyone been to the Square Cafe?
Tram's Kitchen on Penn Ave. in Bloomfield is good for vietnamese. The interior of the place is pretty bare bones, and I think that scares people off.The positive side is that you never wait for a seat. I like the tofu with lemongrass, and the fresh spring rolls.
Thai Cuisine, also in Bloomfield,is great. It's on Liberty Ave. The waiters are vegan friendly and attentive, plus they have a vegetarian menu in addition to the regular one. The red bean curry with mock duck is one of my favorites, also the spicy basil noodles...oh,and the tom yum soup.
I've never heard of Square Cafe.
There's a new place opening soon...Eat To Live holistic cafe. Also in Bloomfield,on Liberty. I'm unnaturally excited about it, and I hope it's all vegan!:)
