I just saw this. I get my caramel ice cream cones from a Coop Forum that's about 3km from the city centre. The only other ones I've been inside were absolutely tiny. The Oatly caramel ice cream in a tub is easier to find but inferior.

I'm going to a conference in Lund, and think I can manage one meal in Malmo. Where do you think I should go?

I'm not very familiar with Malmö, but I love Vegegården. They have a huge vegan all you can eat chinese buffet. Loads of deep fried fake meat for example. http://www.vegegarden.com/

Ones I've heard a lot about but never tried:
Kafé Agnez (https://www.facebook.com/ekokafeagnez/info). Organic vegetarian café with a lot of vegan stuff. This might be mostly sweet stuff though but I think they have great sandwiches and lighter stuff like that too.

Chez Madame: Lunch buffet tuesday-friday 11.30-14.30 (vegetarian/vegan). Breakfast buffet on Saturdays and Sundays, 9-12. Organic.

While writing this I found this blog http://skanevegan.blogspot.se about vegan stuff in that region, I'm sure you can translate it with google translate.
