I finally cracked open my Bonsoy stash (Mum brought some over in July, I was saving it for winter) and without a single doubt, that was the most perfectly amazing hot chocolate that I've had in well over a year.

By the way, I feel like I deserve a medal: I've almost singlehandedly eaten a whole bag of marshmallow dandies in less than 3 days.

I'd never noticed that flavour, only the vanilla, chocolate and chai.



You can't book unless you're a member and you can't become a member unless you eat there and they think you're ok to become a member. I haven't heard of anyone getting in recently but a friend wants to take me there, I will report back ;)

I used to really like the Soychino, but that was about ten years ago... I don't think I've even thought to look for it since. Pity. But I should try the chai!

It was the soy milk I drank most when I started to be vegan (plain and the other flavours tasted kind of weird to me at first). So five-ish years ago? It was great. Can't believe I've only just noticed it's not around anymore. I do like the Chai, which is newish here, but it kind of reminds me of the dentist.

ah, the site says "This is limited to members or those who have become members through dining with a member at Wafu." but I guess that's not really for people to become members *now*. just in past. dammit.

I ended up emailing Sanitarium to find out, and apparently they stopped selling it three years ago! I can't believe I only just noticed. I did stop drinking flavoured soy milk for ages.

Damn. I've been wanting some since you reminded me of it.

Yeah the soychino was pretty good, I hadn't noticed it didn't exist anymore either, I just add leftover coffee to soymilk now anyway.

It's been 3 years? Weird, doesn't seem like it.

So the other day at work I was spinning around in my chair and I suddenly realised that for the last three months, I've been sitting directly under this sign and hadn't noticed what's wrong with it:



This is concerning. More concerning is that no one else seems to have noticed it either. I know, it's comforting to think that we're the people running the country, right?

I'm going to Parliament House for work today! Looking forward to seeing what my vegan option for our morning tea with the Minister is. My money is on the one thing I'm allergic to, bananas. To hell with protocol, if that happens I'm making a scene.
