Coles has them too. Or at least some of them. A lot of the vego stuff seems to have been replaced by quorn now though. Boo.

We have the Quorn stuff, so disappointing that everything is packed with cheese. Their cute packaging sucked me in and then dashed my hopes expertly.

Wait, you have a booze aisle? The politicians get everything for themselves. I laughed at your description of the party dude corn chips. I'm also a Coles loyalist when I go to the grocery store (pretty rarely really, I have a CSA and health food stores, Green Edge, Cruelty Free Shop etc).

I loved those "You'll love Coles" people. It made the supermarket trips so much more amusing.

Yea they are vegan, not like half of the other stuff they have.

I think I've been there, if it's a tofu satay burger, and it was amazing.

Yes it was a tofu satay burger, it was pretty nice but a bit expensive for what it was.

That's one thing I miss about NZ, you could buy booze at pretty much any supermarket in the whole country (except west Auckland of course). But I buy less beer when I shop so I guess that's a good thing...?

I'm a total non-loyalist when it comes to supermarkets, although i usually go to Coles on my way home from the train, the safeway there is a bit shiitake.

Yeah, I think ACT is the only place you can buy it in the supermarket. All the bottle-Os are owned by major supermarkets anyway and are usually next door.

If there were booze aisles in the supermarkets here I would never buy any food.

I am a Safeway boy. I like the self service checkouts so I don't have to talk to anyone.

It's surprisingly good, especially with ice and lemon. I was skeptical at first but its actually nice. All about the ratio though.

Seems like Hand Made Burgers on K'Rd has closed down. The only one left is in Kingsland now. Sadface.

I've definitely never seen it in SA or Victoria. Just here. It's pretty great. The selection isn't awesome and everything is a couple of dollars more expensive than it would be at Dan Murphy's or whatever, but there are times when I'll pay for the convenience.

I don't think there is anyone from Wellington here but if there is come to Punkfest. It's on until midnight and jam packed full of loud bands, I'm just going now :)
