Help! It's been too long since my last date, and my boyfriend and I are sick of the same old chinese restaurant and indian food. where can I go that's romantic and vegan friendly? Even if it's some place that is just willing to make me a vegan dish. We're trying to pull it off without going into the city or driving insanely far. Train is just expensive and inconvenient.

How far are you willing to travel? Montclair and South Orange have great Ethiopian food (Mesob and Lalibela) with lots of vegan options. Montclair has Veggie Heaven. Ledgewood has Loving Hut, etc. Maybe check out the NJ thread for inspiration? viewtopic.php?f=14&t=90&hilit=New+Jersey

oh wow, didnt see that thread! thanks! i think south orange is do-able. maybe keeping it within a half hour of morristown is good.
