Forgot: pattern if anyone wants it!: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library ... y-baby-setIt is super easy and knits up really quick. The socks don't have any heel shaping so the only annoying part is kitchener stitching (kitchenering?) the toes.

That hen knows she's fabulous!
I'll have to make one from the yarn I have left over on my current project <3

I put another row on my never ending granny square today, it is ~5' so far with 13 rows of colour.

Ohh, I love granny squares! That's great, ExpiredSanity!
I'm knitting an experimental shrug without a pattern. Here's my description from Ravelry: My aunt recently made a shrug that was knitted in the round on circular needles, then switched to regular needles for the middle part, and back onto circular for the second sleeve. She noticed that it was comfortable to knit that way and didn’t require any seams but at the same time made adjusting the sleeves rather hard - so I’m trying to make the same project another way: I’m knitting it flat, much like a scarf, then putting markers where I want the armholes and stitching everything up. Let’s see how that goes.
I'm almost done with the first "sleeve". So far it looks like a narrow ribbed scarf, but it fits around my arm, and if everything goes as planned, I'm going to love this shrug!

A little something I made for my neighbor over the weekend! My "embroidery" on the star on the one hand sucks but ah well. I'm new at it.

I've never tried embroidery on any of my knitting, but I have a few patterns in mind that require it. Nice job on the fingerless mitts, I love those for working at my computer in the winter when it's a bit chilly. Pretty color too.

I've been working on it for over a year now, but I only work on it when I have some yarn I get tired of seeing lying around. Maygles, those are lovely gloves! I've been meaning to make myself a pair of fingerless gloves before it gets too cold.

I wish I knew how to knit because I really love the ribbing on them! That is the most annoying thing about crocheting; you can't rib.

I haven't knit much baby stuff. What's a good fiber choice? I don't know anything about babies but someone once told me they have delicate skin and you don't want anything too scratchy. But you also want it to be washable since babies are messy.

Somehow I just now discovered this thread. Don't know how I was missing it. But I sew and knit, so I'll share some of my projects: My first piece of homemade clothing (the skirt) A knitted Mario characters quilt that I made for my bf's graduation Knitted sonic screwdriver from Dr. Who My pig bag that I use for carrying all my knitting around
