looking great, phoenix! not to nag, but i really 100% recommend going back into your ravelry project and updating it for size, yarn etc. if this comes out awesome, you might want to come back to it later to make more. trust me, you won't remember what you did.

I sewed a cushion cover! These are repurposed IKEA seat cushions that I am gonna use for floor/outdoor pillows. This was my first, entirely winged (wung?), pattern-less project, so the cover is a little short and if you look closely it looks shiitake, but I think it's not bad! All the fabric was free, too, so, yay!

And cushion cover #2! All free/recycled fabric again, except for the cute bird print which my sis gave me. I'm usually not this into pink, but most of these fabrics had brown in them and I'm making a quilt that has lots of brown in it, so I grabbed a bunch. We have a cute little fire escape outside our front door that we like to sit on sometimes, but it's not very comfy, so I think that's what these are going to be for. ETA: this one was also a little short, I learned a lot about how to cut fabric properly with these projects. :P

No stitching here lately. I messed up my darn back/shoulder and looking down, holding stuff etc have been painful. Had a decent day today so hopefully my treatment will get me in a less painful state soon!

I finished the purple sweater/cardigan! (The sculpture behind me is a rather weird piece by Bruno Gironcoli - a unicorn-horn shaped stone thing studded with plastic bubbles filled with all kinds of small horses.)

My first real sewing project from a pattern! It's the Obi-Inspired Hot-&-Cold pack from One Yard Wonders, and it's going to be amazing in a day or two when I start getting cramps from hell, especially since I have a standing desk at work now and can't always get a heat pack to stay in the right place. (Not that I'm going to have kids anytime soon, but the straps for this are nice and long, so I can totally see a preggers lady getting use out of this, too!) I love the fabric so hard, it has little hedgehogs all over it!
